- Dany's wedding seemed anticlimactic. There was a lot of buildup, and then it was over in a flash.
- Can Stannis take Winterfell if he can manage to get his army there? Winterfell is easy to defend and not easy to sneak into. Stannis's army will be weak, starving, and freezing. BUT Stannis has the Red God on his side...
- Lady Dustin wanted to marry a Stark - ANY Stark. She didn't seem to care which one she got. She holds a huge grudge against the Starks and against Catelyn.
- It seems like the northern lords know that Arya is a fake, but are too intimidated by Bolton to argue. Maybe Stannis has allies within Winterfell already.
- Asha wants to declare the Kingsmoot invalid because Theon, the actual heir to the throne, was not represented. But Theon is pretty much a ruined human being. Asha will have to reteach him to be himself, or possibly rule through him if she can figure out how to become his new "master."
- Why is Asha being taken to Winterfell as Stannis's prisoner? Possibly to keep morale up with his army -- proof that they can defeat the Ironborn and anyone else that stands in their way. Maybe to burn her later, since she has royal blood.
- Bran can almost communicate through the weirwood tree in the godswood at Winterfell. Theon hears his name being spoken, and past-Ned thought he could hear something as well.
- What did Bran see through the weirwood tree? First Ned, then two children, one of which looked like Arya. This could have been Ned and Lyanna. They mention Old Nan. Next Bran sees a young woman kissing a man as tall as Hodor -- was this young Old Nan and Hodor's father?
- Why does the Kindly Man attack Arya while she is blind? Most likely to heighten her other senses and teach her to fight using more than just her eyes. Is she being trained to be an assassin? Was Jaqen H'gar an assassin, trained the same way that Arya is being trained? He could always hear her approaching, even when she thought she was being silent. Now Jaqen H'gar is in Oldtown posing as Pate -- why? He had Pate steal a key for him. What is the key for? We thought it likely that he is after an ancient book about dragons - possibly how to tame or kill them. What is his endgame and who is he taking orders from?
- Dany is staying in Meereen to keep the peace there. We agree that she should have left for Westeros instead, and that scorning Quentyn was stupid. She should have jumped at the chance to have an alliance with Dorne.
- If Jorah was still with Dany, would he have advised her to marry Quentyn and win Dorne's allegiance, despite his jealousy?
- Quaithe warned Dany about many things: "The glass candles are burning. Soon comes the pale mare, and after her the others. Kraken and dark flame, lion and griffin, the sun's son and the mummer's dragon. Trust none of them. Remember the Undying. Beware the perfumed seneschal." We know that the glass candles are burning. The pale mare is the disease spreading outside Meereen's walls. The kraken could be any of the Greyjoys, but most likely Vicarion or Euron. The lion could be Tyrion or another Lannister. The griffin is most likely Jon Connington, who is now heading to Westeros carrying a plague. The sun's son is presumably Quentyn Martell. And the perfumed seneschal could be a number of things: Varys, Reznak mo Reznak, the Stinky Steward...?
- Are there more dragon eggs in the world?
- Quinci thinks that Tyrion might be a Targaryen, due to Mad King Aerys's desire for Tywin's wife Joanna. The fact that Tyrion, Dany, and Jon (if he is Lyanna's son) were all born in blood (by the deaths of their mothers) makes them contenders for the dragon that has three heads (and each head is a Targaryen). Interesting theory!
