Nineteenth Meeting

Thanks for coming to the meeting and thank you David for bringing food!! Our next meeting will be Wednesday June 25th in the staff lounge, and we will be finishing the fourth book. Eileen will be bringing food next time. **You might want to read the prologue one more time, because it will make the last chapter of the book make more sense.** Seriously. Do it. Here is some of what we talked about:

• There were a few new gods listed on page 722 of the paperback, when Arya is in the house of Black and White. The message to Arya was that no matter who people worship, everyone bows down to death in the end.
• Cersei is digging her own grave and thinks that she is outwitting everybody. In reality she is driving away people who could actually help her, and surrounding herself with sycophants.
• Aemon mentions a glass candle that could not be lit on page 745 (paperback). In the prologue on page 12, the students at the Citadel talk about a glass candle that has been lit in Archmaester Marwyn's chambers. Read the prologue again before you get to the end of the book. :)
• Jaime has finally found his honor. We think that he always had it, but being around Cersei brought out the worst in him.
