Character Recap

Hello! Once again, if you've read ahead you can look here to see where each character stopped at the end of our reading. So far the meetings have been spoiler free - good work! :) We're meeting tomorrow (Friday September 6th) in the Winn Room at 6pm, after the library closes. Candie will be making food for us.

• Sansa meets with Ser Dontos in the Godswood, and promises to be her Florian and take her back to Winterfell.
• Arya, Gendry and Hot Pie are captured by The Mountain That Rides. Lommy is killed.
• Bran hosts a feast at Winterfell. He meets Jojen and Meera Reed.
• Catelyn meets with Renly. It is revealed that Stannis is laying siege to Storm's End.
• Jon and the other rangers reach Craster's Keep. Craster's daughter Gilly asks Sam and Jon to take her away, but they can't help her. She tells Jon that Craster gives his infant sons to the Others. As the rangers leave Craster's Keep, Jon learns that Lord Commander Mormont and all the other rangers know this about Craster and turn a blind eye. Mormont tells Jon that Mance Rayder is gathering all the wildlings in the Frostfangs, and he thinks Rayder means to strike south and invade the realm.
• Theon meets his sister.
• Tyrion sends his cousin Cleos back to Robb with the Lannister's terms, sending Cersei's red cloaks with him. He finally meets with Ser Alliser Thorne. And he bullies and arrests Pycelle, getting many confessions out of him.

We didn't see Davos or Dany in this reading. In the last reading, Davos was witnessing the burning of the Seven, and Dany was in the City of Bones with what was left of her people in the middle of the Red Waste when three riders from a city called Qarth came to see her dragons. See you tomorrow!
