Meeting Tomorrow

I'm trying something new: a page break instead of a show/hide button! Hopefully it works. Click "Read more" at the bottom of this blog entry to see where we left the characters at the end of this reading. Don't click it if you haven't read far enough yet. There's some big events in this reading, so I hope everyone makes it to page 514 in time! See you tomorrow (Wednesday the 10th) at 6pm in the Winn Room Staff Lounge, and then we'll move to the Conference Room. Sorry I posted incorrectly, I forgot to double check my calendar.

• Arya: We haven't heard from Arya since the last reading. She was in the dungeons chasing a cat, and she overheard two men scheming.
• Bran: Bran is attacked by wildlings while trying out his new saddle, and Robb takes the wildling woman Osha to Winterfell for questioning.
• Catelyn: Catelyn witnesses Tyrion's trial by combat at the Eyrie. Tyrion's champion Bronn is victorious, and the two of them are banished from the Eyrie to travel west alone along the high road.
• Jon: The recruits at the Wall are preparing to be sorted into the rangers, builders, and stewards. Jon speaks to Maester Aemon about Sam's talents and asks for Sam to be allowed to be Maester Aemon's personal steward.
• Tyrion: Tyrion wins over the wild men on the high road.
• Sansa: Sansa is told by her father that they are leaving King's Landing, and she protests because she wants to marry Joffrey.
• Dany: Dany decides to name her child Rhaego after her brother, and Rhaego is declared to be the stallion who mounts the world. Viserys is killed by Drogo after drawing a blade in the sacred city and threatening Dany and her unborn child.
• Ned: Robert suffers a wound from a boar and dies. Ned tries to stop Dany's assassination but Varys says it is too late. Renly and Littlefinger both approach Ned, trying to convince him of the best course of action now that Ned is Protector of the Realm.
