Meeting Tomorrow

Our last meeting for book 3 is tomorrow (Friday) at 6pm in the Winn Room. Candie is bringing food. Hopefully everyone has finished the book, because there's a lot of crazy stuff that happens in the end! Here's a recap of where each character ended the book (spoilers ahead if you haven't finished yet!):

• Bran wasn't in this reading. In the last reading, he was travelling beneath the Wall with Jojen, Meera, and Hodor.
• Davos helps Edric Storm escape Dragonstone. Stannis is about to execute Davos when Davos begins to read the letter from Maester Aemon.
• Dany has sacked Mereen and banished Ser Jorah. She decides to stay and rule Mereen to give her people and dragons time to heal, learn, and grow.
• Jaime sees off Sansa's friend Jeyne Poole, who is being sent to the Boltons as Arya Stark to marry Ramsay Bolton. Jaime gives Brienne his Valyrian steel sword and releases her so that she can search for Sansa.
• Arya is with the Hound. The Hound is wounded at an inn, and Arya kills the Tickler. Arya leaves the Hound to die. She shows her iron coin to a Braavosi captain and is allowed to sail with him across the Narrow Sea.
• Tyrion is let out of the Black Cells by Jaime. He learns that his first wife was not actually a whore, and lies to Jaime and tells him that he murdered Joffrey. Tyrion kills Shae and Tywin.
• Sam manipulates the votes of the Night's Watch to get Jon elected.
• Jon is elected as Lord Commander of the Night's Watch. Stannis and his men are at the Wall after winning a victory against the wildlings. Jon is given a choice of commanding the Wall or becoming legitimized and commanding the North as Jon Stark, Lord of Winterfell.
• Sansa hears Lysa's confession and witnesses her murder.
• And don't forget about the epilogue! Merrett Frey is killed by the Brotherhood Without Banners (and Catelyn-Zombie).
